Lead Systems: All anglers must use a lead clip system or free running lead. No fixed leads. Rigs must be 100% safe and the lead must be able to eject in the event of a breakage.
Line: 15lb minimum line. No braided mainline.
Rods: 3 rods maximum. No rods to be left unattended.
Net & Mat: 42″ landing net required. All unhooking mats must have sides and be suitable for specimen carp (no small flat mats; cradles are fine).
Other: Max lead size 2.5oz. No crimps to be used on rigs. Bait boats are allowed.
Restricted Baits: * No nuts.
No plastic baits of any description.
No maggots/casters/worms except between 1st November and 28th February.
Retention: Fish can only be retained for a maximum of 3 hours during the night, except between 1st May – 1st September when no retaining is allowed during the night. 10 minutes max during daylight hours.
Prohibitions: No fish to be removed from the fishery. No casting past the islands.
Gate Security: Close the gate to the lake behind you and replace the electric fence wire. Anyone found leaving the gate open or electric off will be asked to leave immediately.
Arrival/Departure: Arrival time is from 12 noon; you must be off by 12 noon on the day of departure. (Flexible during quieter times).
Prohibited Items/Actions: No dogs, no fires, no climbing fences, no shouting across the lake, and no loud music.
Behavior: No excessive drinking, loud or rowdy behavior. The sign notes: “This is not a fishery for people wanting to party.”
Litter: No litter. Once you enter a swim, that’s your responsibility.
Alarms: Turn the volume down on your alarms when setting your bobbins.
